The latest rumour mill is suggesting that Apple is likely to bring its Touch ID fingerprint sensor technology on updated models of the iPad Air and Retina iPad mini later this year.

The biggest changes will include the A8 processor, Touch ID (fingerprint recognition) and a camera with a resolution of 8MP. Whilst it was initially thought that the iPad mini wouldn’t be touched this year it is believed that Apple want to boost sales and see these advancements as the perfect tool.

Regarding the Air, the belief is that we will see a launch date much earlier than last year’s November one.
